Managing your verification

You can manage your verification from the booking.

If verification or documentation is needed, the booking will show what you need to do next.

Uploading documents

If documents are needed, the upload option will appear in the booking.

Please follow the instructions shown there and upload only the document type requested. The accepted document types may vary depending on your market and verification route.

Before submitting, check that the document is clear, valid, complete, and matches the details on your Hygglo account.

Checking your verification status

You can check your verification status in the same booking.

If there are more steps to complete, they will be shown in the booking. If there are no more documents to upload, your verification may be under review.

If your verification is under review

If your booking shows that verification is under review and there are no more documents to upload, it means we’ve received what we need for now.

If anything else is needed, this will be shown in the booking or shared by our team.

Verification times can vary, so we recommend checking the booking for updates.

If your document was not approved

If a document is not approved, the booking will show what needs to be corrected before you submit again.

Before uploading a new document, check that:

  • the document matches the requested type

  • the document is valid and unexpired

  • the full document is visible

  • the image is clear and readable

  • the name and details match your Hygglo account

  • the address matches your account, if proof of address was requested

Only submit documents that match the request shown in the booking.

Verification results

Once verification is complete, the result will appear in the booking.

If your verification is approved, the booking will be confirmed and the rental can go ahead.

If verification is not approved, the booking cannot continue and will be cancelled.

Any payment you made will not be captured for the cancelled booking. If your bank shows a pending charge or reserved amount, this is usually a temporary hold that will be released by your bank. The timing depends on your bank and is not controlled by Hygglo.

Why Hygglo cannot always share more details

Verification decisions are part of Hygglo’s internal review process. We may not be able to share detailed information about how a specific verification decision was made.
