If we need more information to complete your verification, you can easily upload the requested documents through your booking.

How to upload documents

You can upload the requested documents directly from your booking.

Simply click on the button at the bottom of the page that says “Upload documents” and follow the instructions.

You’ll only be asked to provide documents if we can’t complete the verification automatically, for example, if we need to confirm your identity or verify specific details before the rental can proceed.

The documents requested can vary depending on factors like the type or value of the item and your previous rental history.


Tracking your verification

You can follow your verification progress on the same booking page.

Your status will update in real time as we review your information.

If anything else is needed, you’ll see clear instructions there, and you’ll also receive an email if further action is required.


If your document was not approved

If your document can’t be verified, we’ll let you know what needs to be fixed or resubmitted.

You can find this information directly in the booking in the verification hub.

Common reasons a document might be rejected include:

  • The document is unclear, cropped or blurry

  • It’s expired or missing key details

  • The name or address doesn’t match your account or payment information

If you don’t have the specific document we requested, don’t worry, we’ll guide you through accepted alternatives so that your verification can still be completed.

Before resubmitting, double-check that your document is clear, valid and matches your account details to help speed up the process.

Once you’ve uploaded the correct document, your verification will continue automatically.


Verification results

Once verification is complete, your rental will show one of the following results:

  • Booked – The rental has been confirmed and can proceed as planned.

  • Verification failed – We couldn’t verify your details for this rental. You’ll automatically be refunded.
