What documents might be requested during verification?

If more information is needed to complete verification, you may be asked to upload documentation.

The documents requested can vary depending on your market, booking, and the verification route available. The booking will show what you need to upload.

Identity documents

You may be asked to upload a valid identity document.

This may include documents such as:

  • Passport

  • National ID card

  • Driving licence

The document must be valid, unexpired, and match the details on your Hygglo account.

Proof of address

You may also be asked to provide proof of address.

This include a document that shows your full name and current address, such as a utility bill, bank statement, or other accepted document shown in the booking.

The document must match the requested type and the details on your account.

Follow the instructions in the booking

The upload flow will show which document types are accepted for your case.

Please only upload documents that match the request shown in the booking. If the wrong document type is uploaded, or if the document is unclear, expired, incomplete, or does not match your account details, it may not be approved.

If your document is not approved

If a document is not approved, the booking will show what needs to be corrected before you submit again.

Common reasons a document may not be approved include:

  • the document is expired

  • the image is blurry or incomplete

  • the document does not match the requested type

  • the name or address does not match the details on your account

  • required information is missing or not visible

Please check the instructions in the booking before uploading a new document.
