Hygglo connects lenders and borrowers in a secure and straightforward way. While the platform manages payments, booking terms, and protection in accordance with our insurance and guarantee policies, the rental agreement is made directly between the lender and the borrower. Hygglo acts only as an intermediary.
By creating an account, you agree to our Terms of Use and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the platform.
Your responsibilities as a lender
You are responsible for ensuring that your rental items:
Accurately match your listing – Include correct descriptions, photos, and details of the item’s condition and intended use.
Are in working and safe condition – Items must be fit for purpose and safe for borrowers to use.
Receive regular maintenance and check-ups – Make sure your items are well maintained, clean, and in good working order before each rental.
Comply with legal requirements – Follow all relevant laws, including tax, safety, and consumer protection regulations.
Are properly insured – If your item is not fully covered by Hygglo’s insurance or guarantee, you must ensure it is insured before renting it out.
Have clear rental terms – Communicate any extra fees (for example, for consumables) and expectations regarding the item’s return before a booking is made.
