Currently, it is not possible to extend an ongoing rental period directly in the system. If you need to extend a rental:
Submit a new rental request for the additional days (renter).
Review and approve the request (owner).
Informal agreement for additional days
If both parties agree that the item can be kept for an extra day at no additional charge:
No formal extension is needed.
The renter should return the item as agreed, and the owner can mark it as returned once it is back.
Recommendation: Document this agreement in the booking chat to ensure we can verify it in case of any issues.
