Arranging pick-up

Both renters and owners should agree on a pick-up time. The easiest way to do this is through the Hygglo built-in messaging system.

Pick-up location

  • Once payment is made, renters will find the owner's address in the booking.

  • Unless otherwise agreed, the item should be collected from this location.

Flexible pick-up arrangements

If a suitable time cannot be found, consider flexible solutions:

  • Owners may leave the item in a locked shed or secure box with a code lock.

  • You could arrange to meet on the way to work or collect the item the evening before if more convenient.

  • Early pick-ups are covered by insurance, so there are no issues with this.

Both parties should ensure the agreed pick-up method is safe and practical.


Returning the rental item

Renters must return the item at the agreed time and place.

Return time and location

  • Typically, items are returned on the evening of the last rental day.

  • Unless otherwise agreed, return the item to the same location where it was picked up.

Late returns and additional charges

  • Renters should adhere to the agreed return time.

  • If the item is returned late without prior agreement, owners may charge for the additional rental time.

Clear communication between both parties ensures a smooth rental experience.
