Cancelling a booking request
You can cancel a booking request at any time before making a payment. Once a request has been paid, it becomes an order, and the cancellation policy takes effect.
We strongly recommend reviewing the cancellation policy for the item you wish to rent before completing payment. The policy details can be found in the listing.
Understanding the cancellation policy
After payment, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email includes details about the cancellation policy and refund deadlines for receiving either a full (100%) or partial (50%) refund.
There are three types of cancellation policies:
Flexible
Medium
Strict

How to cancel an order
To cancel an order, go to your booking and click the cancellation button. A confirmation pop-up should appear with information about refund status upon cancellation.
Refund process
Once an order is canceled, a refund request is automatically sent to our payment provider, Stripe. Refund processing times vary, but typically take 5-10 days.
Refunds after the rental period has started
If an issue arises during the rental period and both you and the owner agree to a full refund, do not cancel the order yourself. Canceling after the rental period has begun means you won’t receive a refund. Instead, the owner must initiate the cancellation to ensure a full refund is processed.
