Overview

Boats, jet skis, and heavy trucks (over 3,500 kg) are not included in our general all-risk insurance. Instead, these items are covered under a deductible compensation insurance, meaning you must first report any damages to your primary insurance provider. We will then reimburse your deductible up to 10,000 kr per claim.



What is covered?

  • Deductible compensation: If damage, loss, or theft is covered by another insurance (e.g., boat insurance), we will reimburse your deductible up to 10,000 kr per claim.

Covered vehicles:

  • Motorboats

  • Sailboats

  • Jet skis

  • Medium and heavy trucks (over 3,500 kg)


What is not covered?

  • Scratches or normal wear and tear that do not affect usability.

  • Rental of:

    • Flying vehicles

    • Weapons or weapon parts

    • Jewelry and watches

    • Live animals

    • Tobacco and alcohol

    • Cash and financial instruments

  • Rental of already damaged goods.

  • Damage that was known before the insurance was taken out.


Coverage restrictions

  • Covers damage that occurs during the rental period.

  • Covers rented items and accessories up to specified amount limits.

  • Valid for 90 days.

  • Applicable only in the Nordic countries.


How to file a claim

If damage occurs during the rental period, you must report it immediately after being informed of the incident. Follow these steps:

  1. Report the damage to your primary insurance provider.

  2. Request a unique claim link from Hygglo by contacting Customer Support.

  3. Submit your claim via the provided link.
