Creating and publishing your ad is quick, free, and easy. Follow these steps to start renting out your items and earning extra income.
Getting started
It costs nothing to create or publish ads.
A commission is only charged when your item is successfully rented out.
You can create your ad on a desktop, mobile website, or in the app.
On desktop, click the Create listing button.
On mobile, find Create listing in the menu bar.
If you are not logged in, you will be asked to log in or create an account.
Create a listing
1. Select category
Choose the most suitable category for your item.
If you cannot find a match, contact support, and we can help you find or create the right one.
Each item can only belong to one category.
2. Describe your item
Write a clear and detailed description of your item.
Include information such as:
A clear and descriptive title
Key features, specifications, and condition
Size, weight, age, or any limitations or damages
Special instructions or usage notes
A detailed description helps borrowers understand what they are renting and can increase your chances of getting bookings.
3. Pictures
Good photos make a big difference.
Upload pictures in landscape format (4:3)
Use multiple, well-lit photos of your actual item
Avoid stock images
Show the item from several angles and include any imperfections for transparency
Listings with clear photos often get more attention and rentals.
4. Price
Set a fair and competitive price.
You can offer lower prices for longer rentals to encourage bookings.
Set prices for 1 day, 3 days, and 7 days
Use the suggested price range as guidance
Consider the item’s brand, condition, and popularity
You can adjust the price at any time in your ad or before confirming a booking.
5. Where can the item be handed over?
Specify where you can hand over the item, for example, your home or workplace.
Only list locations where you can reliably meet borrowers.
Your exact address will only be shown once the rental is paid and verified.
If a borrower suggests another pickup location that does not work for you, you can agree together on another place in the chat.
6. Cancellation terms
Choose the cancellation policy that fits you best.
Flexible terms are the most popular with borrowers.
You can choose between Flexible, Medium, and Strict.
When you select a policy, you can read a short description explaining what it means.
7. Value of item
Provide an approximate value of your item.
This helps with insurance and ensures the correct level of protection.
You can use the item’s current market value, such as what you could sell it for today.
Publish your ad
Once all details are filled in, click Publish listing!
Your item is now visible and ready to be rented out.
You can edit or pause your ad at any time.
