When someone sends you a rental request, you'll receive a notification—either as a push notification in the app or via SMS. You can find all rental requests by going to Bookings > Requests in the app.

What details are included in a rental request?

A rental request includes everything you need to decide whether to accept or decline. Here’s what you’ll see:

Rental period

The dates for when the rental is requested.

Booking number

This helps us find your rental if you contact support. Keep it handy in case you need assistance.

Total rental price

This includes the full cost of the rental, along with our booking fee.
Tip: You can manually update the price before the borrower pays if you agree on a special price.

Borrower details

You’ll see the borrower’s full name and contact information after they’ve paid. You can also view their reviews.

Product information

Includes a link to your listing.

Rental status updates

Stay informed on where things stand in the rental process.

Messaging

Use the message field to communicate with the borrower directly.

Progress bar

Shows each stage of the rental—from request to completion and rating.

Accept or decline options

  • Accept if you wish to proceed with the requested rental.

  • Decline if you can't go through with the requested rental.

Do I have to respond to a rental request?

Yes—responding is important, even if you're unable to accept the booking.
You can:

  • Accept if you’re available to rent.

  • Decline if you're not—it's better to reply than to leave the request unanswered.

A quick message, even just to say you're unavailable, helps keep things clear and professional.

Why can’t I see contact details before payment?

We automatically share contact information once the rental has been paid for and the borrower have been verified. Before payment, sharing contact details is not allowed. This is for several reasons:

  • To prevent users from receiving unwanted calls.

  • To ensure all communication is saved on the platform in case of disputes.

  • To protect the safety of everyone using the service.

📌 If someone tries to share contact details before payment, it may violate our terms. In serious cases, this can result in being blocked from the service.
