What To Do If You've Accidentally Marked a Rental as Delivered Too Early

If you’re a lender and you’ve mistakenly marked a booked rental as delivered before it actually is, don’t worry — we can help!

Important: Don’t Mark It as Returned

Please do not mark the rental as returned after this mistake. Doing so will:

  • Mark the rental as completed in the system.

  • Trigger an automatic payout to you for the rental.

  • Prevent us from being able to revert it back to an active state.

Once a rental is marked as returned and completed, we can’t undo it.

What To Do Instead

Contact our customer support team right away. We can help you:

  • Reset the rental status so it returns to the correct state.

  • Ensure the booking continues smoothly without needing to create a new one.

If the Rental Has Already Been Marked as Returned

If the rental has been completed and the payout hasn't yet reached your account:

  • Reach out to our support team immediately.

  • We’ll help you refund the rental and advise the borrower to create a new booking.

Completing a rental too early can lead to complications, especially if the item hasn’t been delivered or used yet. That’s why it’s best to contact us before taking any further steps in the system.
