If the Lender Does Not Fulfill Their Commitment
Updated over 3 weeks ago

If the lender is not home, is delayed, is unavailable before or during the rental period, or otherwise fails to provide what you have rented, you as the borrower may be entitled to a full or partial refund of the rental amount.

Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us as soon as possible via email or chat. The request should be submitted within a reasonable time after the rental period starts so we can assist you in the best possible way. It is important to contact us as soon as possible, as we can no longer process a refund if the rental period has ended and the payment has already been transferred to the lender.

Important Information When Requesting a Refund

  • Cancellation before the rental period begins: You can cancel on your own before the rental period starts, but the refund amount depends on the cancellation terms and when the cancellation occurs. If you believe you are entitled to a full refund but the cancellation terms only allow for a partial or no refund, contact us instead of canceling on your own.

  • Evidence: Please attach screenshots of messages, pictures, or other relevant documentation that supports your case.

  • Scope of the refund: Depending on the circumstances, you may receive a full or partial refund. We assess each case based on the available information.
