Drone insurance terms

Drones and their accessories are covered by a separate policy on Hygglo. Drones are in other words not included in the general all-risk insurance. The person renting out the drone has no deductible, while the person renting is responsible for a deductible of up to 5,000 kr.



What is covered?

The insurance applies to items in the drone categories and covers sudden and unforeseen damage or loss of rented objects.

  • Maximum compensation: Market value (including accessories) just before the damage occurred, up to a maximum of 20,000 kr per claim.

  • The person renting pays a deductible of up to 5,000 kr.

  • The person renting out receives full compensation without any deductible.

  • Hygglo handles the deductible payment with the person renting the drone or accessory.

What is not covered?

  • Underwater drones (covered by the general all-risk insurance instead).

  • Scratches or normal wear and tear that do not affect usability.

  • Rental of already damaged items.

  • Damage that was known before the insurance was taken out.
    ​



Insurance limitations

  • Covers only damage occurring during the rental period.

  • Covers rented items and accessories up to the specified compensation limits.

  • Valid for 90 days.

  • Applies only within the Nordic countries.
    ​



How to make an insurance claim

  • Report damages to Hygglo immediately after discovering them.

  • Contact Hygglo support at hej@hygglo.se to file a claim.
