Hygglo Insurance Overview
Most items rented out on Hygglo are covered by our all-risk insurance, which compensates up to 30,000 kr without a deductible. However, certain categories have specific insurance terms that you should review:

General Insurance Coverage
The general insurance automatically applies to both private individuals and businesses when the rental is paid through Hygglo.
Our insurance covers damages up to 30,000 kr with no deductible. If the item you are renting out has a higher value than this, you will need separate insurance to be fully covered. In such cases, our insurance will cover the deductible on your private insurance.
What Does the Insurance Cover?
All-risk coverage
Protects against sudden and unforeseen damage or loss of rented items.
Maximum compensation: The market value (including accessories) immediately before the damage, capped at 30,000 kr per claim.
Deductible coverage
Reimburses deductibles up to 10,000 kr per claim if the damage, loss, or theft is covered by another insurance (e.g., home insurance).
If repair costs are below your ordinary deductible or if you lack other insurance, compensation will be provided under the all-risk policy.
Note: Compensation cannot be claimed from both the all-risk and deductible coverages for the same damage event.
What Is Not Covered?
Scratches or normal wear and tear that do not affect usability.
Items excluded from rental coverage:
Flying vehicles (e.g., drones or planes).
Weapons or weapon parts.
Jewellery, watches, live animals, tobacco, alcohol, cash, or financial instruments.
Rentals of already damaged goods.
Damage known to exist when the insurance was purchased.
Specific exclusions under the all-risk policy:
Caravans.
Motorhomes.
Boats and jet skis.
Trucks over 3,500 kg.

Restrictions on Coverage
Only damages incurred during the rental period are covered.
Insurance covers the rented items (including accessories) up to the specified compensation limits.
Valid for up to 90 days.
Coverage applies within the Nordic countries.
Filing an Insurance Claim
If damages occur during the rental period, report them to Omocom as soon as possible. Follow these steps:
