Important Things to Consider When Renting a Chisel Hammer

Updated over a month ago
  • Use the right chisel for the material
Different chisels are designed for different materials. Using the wrong one can damage both the tool and the surface.

  • Let the machine do the work
Avoid applying excessive pressure—chisel hammers are designed to work with their own weight. If you're working on the floor, don’t lean on the machine.

  • Adjust the stroke rate if needed
If the machine has an adjustable stroke rate, ensure it’s set correctly for the material and chisel you’re using. Check with the lender if you're unsure.
