Before Driving:
Raise the Support Wheel – Ensure the support wheel is fully raised before driving.
Check the Trailer Coupler – Make sure the coupler has clicked firmly into place on the towbar.
Test the Power Connection – Verify that the power cord is functioning properly so that the turn signals and brake lights work correctly.
Adjust Your Driving Style – The vehicle will be significantly longer with a trailer attached, so allow extra space for turns and braking.
Monitor the Load Weight – Avoid overloading the trailer to ensure safe handling and compliance with weight limits.
When Launching the Boat:
Remove the Light Ramp – If the trailer has a light ramp at the back, remove it before backing into the water.
Safety Precautions:
Check the Breakaway Cable – Ensure the trailer’s breakaway cable is not too long, as it could drag on the ground.
Release the Trailer Brake – If the trailer has brakes, make sure to release them before driving.
Lock the Trailer – When leaving the trailer unattended, always secure it with a lock.
