Payouts of rental income: entering bank details for payout

To receive payouts for your rentals, ensure your bank details are entered correctly in your account. Follow the steps below based on the platform you're using.



On desktop

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Click your profile picture and select "My Profile" from the dropdown menu.

  3. Go to "Edit profile".

  4. Scroll to the "Payout details" section in your profile.

  5. Enter your IBAN number (or your bank account number if you have a Norwegian Hygglo account).

  6. Click "Update profile" at the bottom of the page to save your changes.



In the app and mobile web

  1. Log in and navigate to "My Profile" (the icon is on the far-right side of the bottom menu).

  2. Go to "Edit profile".

  3. Scroll down to the "Payout details" section.

  4. Enter your IBAN number (or bank account number for Norwegian accounts).

  5. Tap "Update profile" to save your changes.



Stripe information

  • In the "Payout details" section of your profile, you will see a box labelled "Status of your Stripe account."

  • Stripe, our payment provider, may request additional information. Click the link provided to upload the requested documents.

  • If "Receive bookings" and "Payouts" are marked as Active, no further action is required.



Updating your bank account information

To update the account number for payouts:

  1. Follow the steps above for your device (desktop or app).

  2. Enter the new account details.

  3. Save your changes by clicking "Update profile."



Troubleshooting bank details

If you're having issues entering or updating your bank details, try the following:

  • Double-check your IBAN: Ensure it's entered correctly without any spaces. Check that no hidden space follows the last digit.

  • Complete missing profile information: Make sure all required fields in your profile are filled before saving.

  • Save changes: Confirm that you’ve clicked "Update profile" after entering the details.

  • Try another platform: If one method doesn’t work (e.g., the app), try entering your details on the website.
