Most of what is rented out on Hygglo is covered by our all-risk insurance which compensates up to 30 000 kr without a deductible. However, there are some categories that have special insurance terms that are worth getting acquainted with:
The insurance covers damage up to 30 000 kr without deductible. Anything you rent out with a higher value than this, will need to be covered by your own insurance to be fully insured and our insurance will then cover your deductible. The insurance applies to both individuals and companies and it automatically is included when you use Hygglo - but only if the rent is paid through Hygglo.
What is included in the insurance?
All-risk: Includes things that are not compensated by our compensation of deductible and applies in the event of sudden and unforeseen damage to or loss of rented out objects. The maximum compensation for all-risk is the market value (including accessories) just before the damage occurred, but at most 30 000 kr per claim.
Deductible: Compensation for deductible if damage, loss or theft is covered by another insurance eg. home insurance, up to 10 000 kr per claim. If the cost of repair is less than your ordinary deductible or if ordinary insurance is missing, compensation will be given according to the all-risk insurance.
You cannot receive compensation from both deductible and all-risk for the same damage event.
What is not included in the insurance?
Scratches or normal wear and tear that do not affect the usability.
Rental of flying vehicles, weapons or parts for weapons, jewelry, watches, live animals, tobacco, alcohol, cash and financial instruments.
Rental of already damaged goods.
Damage which, as a result of circumstances, was known when the insurance was taken out.
The all-risk does not include caravans, motorhomes, boats, jet skis and trucks (weight over 3,500kg). See terms here.
Are there any restrictions on what the insurance covers?
The insurance only covers damage that occurs during the rental period.
The insurance covers rented things including accessories up to specified amount limits.
The insurance is valid for 90 days.
The insurance is valid in the Nordic countries.

Create insurance claim
Damages that have occurred during rental period must be reported to Omocom as soon as the insured has been informed of the damage. You do so through a link you receive from Hygglo. Contact customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org for your unique link to the insurance claim form.
